Hofmann Culinary School, founded in 1983 by Mey Hofmann is a benchmark in Culinary Education in Europe. The School's pedagogical project goes far beyond mere learning. Hofmann Culinary School courses are aimed at anyone interested in learning and experiencing first-hand the world of professional high cuisine, who has an interest and enthusiasm for entering the world of gastronomy and would like to receive culinary training of the highest level to develop their professional career in this field.
Hofmann Culinary School consists of five practical classrooms, three demonstration classrooms, and three theory ones. In each of the restaurants of the Group (Hofmann Restaurant, Taverna Hofmann and Arroz Hofmann) there is an application kitchen and a classroom at the Hofmann Restaurant. There is also a practical classroom in the pastry shop.
Hofmann school is located in an emblematic building on Argentería Street in Barcelona, in the historical center of the city, a few metres from the medieval Basilica of Santa María del Mar, an area of museums and restaurants and just some minutes away from the Mediterranean Sea. A place that Mey Hofmann wanted to restore to be the center of her formative and gastronomic project, to which she dedicated her life helping to boost the neighborhood in which it is located.
