HAIKULINARIO

On Tuesday, November 26 at 6:00 pm, the official presentation of the book "Haikulinario" written by Marta Lopez Cuartero with a prologue by Silvia Hofmann

About the book:

Haikulinario is born from the union of traditional Japanese poetry, haiku, with the world of cooking. A book to read slowly, which needs each poem to be savored without haste. A book to cultivate the poetic palate through its reading.

On each page there is a unique haiku written in Spanish, and next to it the Japanese version translated with the vertical ideograms (kanji, expresses concepts) along with the phonetic translation of the symbols.

A book for lovers of cooking, of poetry, to people eager to discover new ways of perceiving the world.

About the writer:

Marta López Cuartero was born in Barcelona. He studied biology at the University of Barcelona, ​​in the specialization of industrial microbiology, to which he has dedicated his entire professional career. Her passion for cooking has led her to take several courses at the Hofmann School of Hospitality. She is the author of numerous stories published in different anthologies of short, erotic, romantic, historical and micro story, genre with which she began her literary career, and co-author of Red Mullets. Now Marta surprises us with her new story, Haikulinario. The first book of poems dedicated to culinary haiku with a special prologue by Silvia Hofmann.
