Alexandru Chitic, a former Hofmann student, has just received the award for best praline in "The World Trophy of Pastry Ice Cream and Chocolate FIPGC."
Extremely talented and creative, Alex started being appreciated ever since has college days at the University of Transylvania in Brasov, Romania, with impressive skills in sculpting fruits and vegetables.
His creativity made him refine and specialize in this ability to make artistic pieces with chocolate and sugar, which have brought him many awards and recognitions worldwide.
Born in the Republic of Moldova, he moved to Brasov, Romania, where he worked in famous restaurants and graduated from the University and subsequently landed in Barcelona to pursue his career and training at the School itself.
Alexandru Chitic stands out for its extremely perfect technique and its born skills in the world of pastry. Among his recognitions, the last award for the best praline in the FIPGC (International Federation of Pastry Ice Cream and Chocolate) stands out.
