HOFMANN COOKING. EVENING COURSE

Fresh market cuisine, avant-garde and intuitive for those who wish to learn to how to cook using easy techniques via a 100% practical learning method. In this course, various menu proposals will be made so that you can use them both in a professional and private environment.

 

During this Cooking Course, you will learn the basic cooking techniques and improve your preparationmethodology. For the duration of the course we will meet once a week to prepare a menu of 3 seasonal dishes.After the practical and demonstration classes, we will taste all the dishes together.

In each season of the year during the Evening Cooking Course we will show you dishes of such season with different content each time. You can sign up for one, two or all three courses. 

WHO IS IT ADRESSED TO 

Gastronomy enthusiasts with an interest in learning new cooking techniques and who want to improve their cooking skills as well as the presentation of their dishes. In a relaxed atmosphere and endorsed by the Hofmann name.

GROUP I:

Hours: Wednesday from 8:00pm to 11:30pm.

GROUP II:

Hours: Thursdays from 8:00pm to 11:30pm. 

Duration: 2 months. 24 hours.
 
CONTENT
Practical and demonstrative course of Easy, Intuitive and Market Cooking. There are three different contents, for each of the three courses taught throughout the year, all coinciding with the seasonality of the market. During the class, the students and the teacher will prepare a complete menu with three proposals.At the end of each session, all dishes made will be tasted together.

SESSION 1

"Masked" jacket potato with foie
Sea bass in soya sauce and miso
Cookies

SESSION 2

Light cream of flowered cabbages and smoked eggs
Scampi in tempura with crispy vegetables and mushroom ketchup
"Profiteroles" with chantilly

SESSION 3

Mushroom croquettes
Iberian "secreto" with tupinambur puree and mushrooms
Pannacotta with raspberry sorbet

SESSION 4

Basmati rice with pumpkin curry
Cod meatball casserole
French toast

SESSION 5

Mille feuille of cod brandade
Chicken casserole with prawns
Pina colada in three textures

SESSION 6

Braised artichokes and potatoes with clams and poached egg
Monkfish in piperrada
Mille feuille of honey and "mato"

SESSION 7

Empordà style fish soup.
Braised lamb shoulder and potatoes
Tiramisu

SESSION 8

Meat couscous
Bread with chocolate, banana and olive oil
