In the introductory bartending course you will learn the basics to make the most popular and innovative cocktails from the hand of Damià Mulà, specialist, expert and trainer in hospitality issues in general and in the specialization of cocktails in particular.


Whether you have a training base in cooking or work as a waiter in the dining room department or if you are an amateur interested in the world of cocktails, we recommend this course.

Over 4 sessions of 4 hours each, you will be introduced to the world of cocktails by the hand of one of the best and you will do so at the Hofmann Restaurant, with a Michelin star. The course is a combination of demonstration sessions, theoretical sessions and practical sessions. The objective is that you know the basic techniques, know how to distinguish and combine the different liquors and also receive training on how to attend and adapt to the needs of different types of customers. All this starting from a solid theoretical training to then go on to practice and tasting, always guided by the teacher. You will work in a group and you will have an additional hour of weekly tutoring, for the preparation of a cocktail at the end of the course.



The introductory bartending course is aimed at culinary or hospitality students, bartenders, amateur bartenders or instagramers or foodies who want to complement or be introduced to culinary training based on bartending.




Damià Mulà trained in restoration at La JOVIAT and ESHOB, and at companies such as EL BULLI, JEAN LUC FIGUERAS or PARADÍS GROUP. But his entire professional career has focused on study, innovation and training in the hospitality industry, with his career in cocktails being of special importance. He is currently a professor at various hospitality schools such as the Culinary Institute of Barcelona, ​​and a few years ago he designed the first university course in mixology at the CETT (Universitat de Barcelona). In addition, he is a local advisor in the lounge and cocktail departments, and collaborates with R&D teams such as PLATS INSTITUTE and MAKEAT. Some of his outstanding projects are the design of bars for the premises, among them, for IMPUR COCKTAIL BAR by NANDU JUBANY.

Damià participates in different media as an expert in cocktails and has also founded a portal dedicated to training in cooking and cocktails, both professionally and amateur, allowing him to take his presentations internationally to Fairs such as RAICES in Guayaquil (Ecuador).

It is also expected to have some participation, apart from the course, of great experts in the field of cocktails, such as Marc Àlvarez, Javier Caballero, Giuseppe Baldi, Eduard Campos, among others ... With voluntary monographs for registered students.

Split payment: € 200 for 2 payments *.


The first payment will be made at the time of reserving the place and the next payment at the beginning of the course.
