In this course you will learn the basic techniques for preparing some of the most emblematic dishes of Mexican cuisine such as the well-known guacamoles or corn pancakes from the chefs of the Hofmann School.
In addition, you will take a trip back in time to learn about and cook dishes of Mexican cuisine in the pre-Hispanic period, going through the colonial era until reaching the present day with the preparation of recipes for current Mexican street food.
If you want to delve into the base of the culinary culture of Mexico, a very tasty type of cuisine with a great variety of dishes, techniques and ingredients, we recommend this course.
Throughout the training of eight sessions of four hours each, you will be able to know and put into practice the main culinary techniques, typical of Mexican gastronomy, such as corn dough and some of its possibilities (tortillas, chips, huaraches, tamales ) as well as learning how to make a good guacamole.
Next, in a 100% practical way and preparing the recipes yourself with the explanation and the chef's guide, we will prepare recipes of the most traditional cuisine and some of the most current. All this from a gastronomic perspective where guidelines will be given from how and where to choose the best product to the best way to start each technique. Three recipes will be made in each session.

This course is mainly aimed at all those who want to discover the basis of traditional Mexican cuisine and who wish to advance their knowledge of professional techniques, either to develop as a professional or to enjoy their hobby for cooking.
The homogenization of our pedagogical system means that these courses can be carried out by both senior and amateur profiles.
Hours: Friday from 4.30pm to 8.30pm. A weekly session.

Split payment: € 435 for 2 installments.
